Yoga Retreat

February 8 - 13, 2020

Emily Shapiro completed 600 hours with the Nosara Yoga Institute, and continues to teach yoga in Nosara & her other home, New York City, since 2010. She’s hosted over 30 retreats in Nosara & loves bringing students to such a remarkable, accessible, FUN beach town. She describes her retreats as a joyful, camp-like week, where you find camaraderie & new friendships with likeminded people, exploring yoga & movement practices, while trying new things in a new place, celebrating, laughing and dancing and have a margarita because, let’s face it, you’re on a vacation. Her retreat participants are encouraged to explore the town, take surf lessons, but most importantly, connect with one another. Her retreats include 1-2 yoga classes daily and catered breakfast, plus day trips and special guest instructors. Emily’s yoga teaching style is a blend of Ashtanga influenced Vinyasa & dance/flow/non traditional sequencing.

February 22 - 27, 2020

Retreat for a truly rejuvenating experience in the heart and pulse of the jungle. Daily yoga offered by your co-hosts will incorporate a balance and variety of vinyasa, hatha, and restorative based practices while upholding that pura vida spirit, ebbing and flowing in sync with energetics and environment.

In between yoga and meals, lounge by your villa’s own private saltwater pool, sink your feet in the long stretch of quiet sandy beach, meander through Nosara’s local cafes and shops, and simply enjoy ample time to connect with nature, others, and connect back to self.
